Nicamaka® sprang-woven hammocks & hamacas  products start with factory-dyed, high-quality imported polyester, polycotton or cotton yarns that artisans twist into cords, sprang-weave the cords into transverse stretch beds, crochet the side coverlet  borders and then perform all of the hammocks configuration adjustment, detail & finish work by hand.

Our "Playa22" is Nicamaka®'s personal sprang-woven, spreader-bar hammock. It has beautiful 39-inch, turned tropical hardwood bars and its softly sprang-woven bed is made with garment-grade polyester and polycotton yarns for maximum sun-fade resistance and extended outdoor use.  These  hammocks are an ideal replacement for less comfortable rope and stick hammocks. The "Playa-39" spreader bar hammock is most comfortable and useful when hung high from trees, walls or posts.  If convenient vertical or horizontal overhead supports are not available and economical wooden posts cannot be installed, There are several low-support tri-Beam stands available.
